We are looking to recruit – at the earliest possibility – a Software Developer (m/f/d) Micro Services & Cloud-ready for an unlimited period of time and in full time, in order to support our agile team of developers within KWS Saat SE & Co. KGaA in Einbeck, Lower Saxony, Germany. As a member of a highly motivated team you will push the further development of our digital breeding platform. Your operational area will cover various tasks from applications for portable data acquisition devices in the warehouse management until highly specialized software components for supporting the most recent internal breeding processes.

Your tasks

  • Further development of the software architecture towards mirco-services, domain-driven design and cloud readiness
  • Development and monitoring of new applications (web and rich client) from their conceptual design until their operation
  • New development and maintenance of back-end services
  • Support for the documentation and testing of the applications
  • Close cooperation with the international key users of the different fields of application at our site and worldwide

Your profile

  • University degree in informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Practice experience in professional software development (e.g. dependency injection, mocking and continuous integration)
  • Excellent skills in object-oriented software development (design patterns, UML)
  • Excellent knowledge in web front-end technologies (e.g. Angular, React)
  • Good C# skills and .NET Core/Standard desirable
  • Sound handling of GIT, Windows, Linux and relational databases (SQL)
  • Knowledge of agile software development (e.g. SCRUM)
  • Good command of English and German required
